At E&P Community Farms we nurture and assist new generation farmers in transitioning from traditional farming to new age organic farming all while keeping the core of traditional farming alive. Our first stage of business is to improve the soil quality of our farmers by introducing our unique vermicomposting unit. Our unit is designed to help process all organic waste into high quality fertilizers. With this we intend to solve the problem of soil depletion and waste management at its very core by converting all locally generated organic waste into high value products for our farmers.
Wet waste generated in rural and urban communities is thrown on a dumping ground. The waste decomposes and is often mixed with toxic by products causing pollution to land, water and air. This cause an increase risk to health of the local population. E&P's waste to compost program helps villages convert all wet waste generated into a high quality vermi-compost using a uniquely designed composting unit. By the means of this project we intend to solve the major problems of waste management and soil degradation/pollution. Furthermore, we intend to promote adoption of organic farming among small and marginal farmers.
